Since the opening of the full time school in 2012, the number of students has grown significantly from 23 students to about 120 incoming students. As our school expands we are faced with limitations due to space constraints. In order to accommodate the growing number of students we need to expand our learning area urgently.
Modular classroom trailers are an option we are considering. They will allow a low cost but highly effective solution to challenges such as spacing constraints. Due to these classrooms arriving assembled it cuts out construction time and sites which can be harmful to the learning environment. The addition of these modular classrooms would prevent overcrowded classrooms. Unfortunately, there are still a number of expenses and a lot of construction that needs to be done before the trailers even arrive. A rough estimate of the construction costs that has been provided to us is in the ballpark of $60,000.
