Islamic School of Miami facilitates the learning of students by highly qualified teachers. We do not believe in the term “secular education.” Both academic sciences and Islamic sciences lead one to the ultimate goal of recognition of our Creator. A curriculum for Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies that meets or exceeds the national core standards has been selected for the academic sciences. Although we do not believe that a standardized test is truly and necessarily the way to determine the student’s progress and success, we also use an independent agency for standardized testing to verify that our students have met the learning objectives in the upper grades
