QG2 Provide Further Opportunities for Advanced Students to Excel Through a Sustained and Uniform Process of Differentiated Learning

  • Extend current pilot honors math and science classes to all grade levels 1st - 8th
  • Develop rigor of honors math and science class in 2 ways: accelerated work + problem solving development
  • Expand honors/advanced classes to other subjects - Islamic studies, social studies, and language arts  in a gradual process - 1 per year
  • Provide project-based learning opportunities for advanced students to delve into detail into their interests

         Timeline: 3 Years

QG3 Strengthen Intensive Tutoring and Intervention to Help Advance Students to Help Them Succeed

  • Create structured department with head to organize the current tutoring system
  • Create structured plan for students in all categories (struggling, at level, and advanced)
  • Recruit alumni to assist in tutoring and tracking students’ progress
  • Schedule at least one hour per week in student schedule to allow for one-on-one tutoring

         Timeline: 1-2 Years with Continuous Implementation

QG4 Provide Additional Learning And Review Resources For Middle School Students In FLVS Courses
  • Develop supplementary learning resources including lecture videos for FLVS courses
  • Develop module and semester exam practice quizzes, games, and other programs
  • Develop supplementary writing curriculum to compliment the middle school FLVS courses
